For payment for the rental of premises on special public holidays 1 Jan, 4 May, 23 Jun, 24 Jun, 18 Nov, 24 Dec, 25 Dec, 26 Dec, 31 Dec +20%.
To reserve the Palace premises for your event on a specific date and time, a contract must be concluded and an advance payment of up to €484 must be made, which is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

After 23:00, the sound towards the lake must be muted.
After 23:00, the halls are available only if the event guests have booked all the hotel rooms in the castle building or pay 50% of the price of the unoccupied rooms.
Chairs and tables, except for the round 10-seater tables, are included in the price. See the costs of candlesticks and other additional equipment here.
The Castle Distribution Room can be used if the event is not served by the Bīriņu Castle kitchen. Rent: €200 for the time the castle premises are rented for the event. The distribution room contains sinks, a dishwasher, tables, refrigerators, a table with heat lamps and a marmitr. If you want to use our oven or your own additional heating equipment, this must be agreed upon and is for an additional fee. Rent of our oven for heating food is €60 per day.
The Castle Table Warehouse can be used free of charge for storing surprises or artists’ equipment. If artists need a separate living space, then one of the hotel rooms must be reserved for the price of the room.
The premises are available for decoration and equipment during the rented time. You can find out about the availability of premises for free equipment earlier or at other times 5 days in advance.
In addition, the entire territory is closed to other visitors from 16:00 on the current day to 13:00 the next day 2000 € + 50% of the price of unreserved hotel rooms.
Fireworks shooting time until 23:00. A contract must be concluded for the fireworks shooting and a fee of 70 € must be paid.

How many guests can be accommodated at a banquet at Birini Castle?
Birini Castle offers a variety of rooms depending on the scale of the event. The Great Hall (Celebration Hall) is suitable for up to approximately 80–99 guests, but other luxurious palace halls and restaurant spaces are also available for smaller celebrations.
Is it possible to hold the event outdoors?
Yes, in the warm season it is possible to organize celebrations and snack breaks in the castle garden, on the castle terrace or on the picturesque lake shore. The price remains the same as for renting the Castle Halls and therefore the Castle premises are also at your disposal, if due to weather conditions and the vagaries of Latvian nature you decide to use the indoor premises for part of the event.
What is the rental period for the premises?
The maximum duration of the room rental for banquets is usually until 4:00 am.
Does the castle provide catering, or can we bring in our own caterers?
The Birini Castle restaurant provides full-service top-class catering and our chef will help you create a festive menu that suits your taste and budget. But, by discussing the details, it is also possible to use the full-service kitchen chosen by the guests themselves.
Can we bring our own party cake and alcoholic beverages?
Yes, by prior arrangement, you can order a celebratory cake from another chef and bring it to the castle. It is also possible to purchase your own alcoholic beverages – in this case, a “corkage fee” applies.
Is there a menu available for vegetarians, vegans, or guests with allergies?
Yes, with timely notification to our banquet manager, we will adapt the menu to any dietary requirements and allergies.
Is overnight accommodation available for guests?
Yes, we offer accommodation both in the castle itself (in the historic castle rooms) and in the adjacent buildings (in the Gardener’s House). In total, we can accommodate approximately 70–80 guests with extra beds.
Can a marriage ceremony be held on the castle grounds?
Definitely! Birini Castle is a very popular wedding venue. The ceremony can be organized in Lapene on the lake shore, in the castle halls, in the castle park, in the Mežaparks gazebo or in a special place chosen by the newlyweds.
What additional services does Birini Castle offer?
To make the celebration unforgettable, we offer:
- Horse-drawn carriage rides (or sleigh rides in winter);
- Champagne pyramid;
- Boat rental for trips on Lake Birini;
- Candle path on the hill at the entrance or to the gazebo down the hill for a drink;
- Sauna and small pool complex rental for relaxation after the celebration.

How can we reserve a date?
To reserve a date, please contact our event organizer. The date is fully reserved after signing the contract and making the advance payment.
Is parking available for guests?
Yes, there is ample parking on the castle grounds for all guests of your event.
When is full payment for the event due?
The exact payment terms and schedule are agreed in the contract, but usually the final payment for the premises, meals and rooms is made shortly before the event or on the day of the event (depending on the previous agreement and the amount of drinks/additional services consumed).
