On a hill by the lake rises Birini Castle, built in 1860. It is a romantic, lovingly created place close to Riga, Sigulda and the Saulkrasti seaside. The castle is surrounded by a picturesque park, lakes and manor buildings with a hotel, restaurant and luxurious rooms for weddings and seminars.

History is at every turn here, one story overlaps another and one testimony follows another. At Bīriņi Castle, interested visitors have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with historical evidence both in nature and in exhibitions, and, of course, in the historical file storage in the administration.
