Birini Castle offers a variety of rooms depending on the scale of the event. The Great Hall (Celebration Hall) is suitable for up to approximately 80–99 guests, but other luxurious palace halls and restaurant spaces are also available for smaller celebrations.

Yes, in the warm season it is possible to organize celebrations and snack breaks in the castle garden, on the castle terrace or on the picturesque lake shore. The price remains the same as for renting the Castle Halls and therefore the Castle premises are also at your disposal, if due to weather conditions and the vagaries of Latvian nature you decide to use the indoor premises for part of the event.

The maximum duration of the room rental for banquets is usually until 4:00 am.

The Birini Castle restaurant provides full-service top-class catering and our chef will help you create a festive menu that suits your taste and budget. But, by discussing the details, it is also possible to use the full-service kitchen chosen by the guests themselves.

Yes, by prior arrangement, you can order a celebratory cake from another chef and bring it to the castle. It is also possible to purchase your own alcoholic beverages – in this case, a “corkage fee” applies.

Yes, with timely notification to our banquet manager, we will adapt the menu to any dietary requirements and allergies.

Yes, we offer accommodation both in the castle itself (in the historic castle rooms) and in the adjacent buildings (in the Gardener’s House). In total, we can accommodate approximately 70–80 guests with extra beds.

Definitely! Birini Castle is a very popular wedding venue. The ceremony can be organized in Lapene on the lake shore, in the castle halls, in the castle park, in the Mežaparks gazebo or in a special place chosen by the newlyweds.

To make the celebration unforgettable, we offer:

• Horse-drawn carriage rides (or sleigh rides in winter);
• Champagne pyramid;
• Boat rental for trips on Lake Birini;
• Candle path on the hill at the entrance or to the gazebo down the hill for a drink;
• Sauna and small pool complex rental for relaxation after the celebration.

To reserve a date, please contact our event organizer. The date is fully reserved after signing the contract and making the advance payment.

Yes, there is ample parking on the castle grounds for all guests of your event.

The exact payment terms and schedule are agreed in the contract, but usually the final payment for the premises, meals and rooms is made shortly before the event or on the day of the event (depending on the previous agreement and the amount of drinks/additional services consumed).
